Ptbatchergui exe crash
So I guess this bit is working, though this a normal file not a socket. I could not reproduce this behaviour. On windows it works. I hope, this should fix it. I have no clue, why it crashes now. So I changed the patch to use a file ". I hope, this works better. This is a lock file used by wxSingleInstanceChecker. I changed the name to make it hidden. On windows wxSingleInstanceChecker uses a mutex, so this file is never created. Item i ,name. The error was 'BadRequest invalid request code or no such operation '.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. The error was 'BadAtom invalid Atom parameter '. Please test first the simple called version.
It contains only the single instance checker. When starting a second instance it doesn't start the second instance, all command line parameters are then ignored. Maybe you have to delete a previous lock file. Only when this one works, please test the second one. It basicly the version 5 with some little changes. So you have to compile as debug and not as release. So I hope the find the bug with the output to stderr.
Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. Thomas -- Psssst! Then running again I get this error:. Also I'm running everything via remote-X, so in this case the 'server' is an asus eee. Otherwise it sometimes just "freezes" ie. Maybe I'll try to build wxWidgets with debugging informations to get more info about it. I am using SVN version I've narrowed down the date when PTBatcherGUI broke on Linux to the 15th March: svn builds, runs without crashing svn doesn't build svn doesn't build svn doesn't build svn builds, crashes on startup I'll do some more testing Ok, I can rearrange the order of these commits: svn is the commit that broke things.
The attached patch for the trunk hacks out the lines that cause the crash. PTBatcherGUI starts but isn't functional, the stitching queue isn't loaded on startup, projects can be added to the queue, but they fail when run possibly a different bug.
This is what I'd like to do, but I have no idea how close it is to being releasable - Somebody was saying a few days ago that they found it quite useful on Windows. How about we give it a deadline? One week? I know many people don't like fixed release dates, but they are one thing that works.
I would suggest to adopt an official release policy, made of a review cycle and a release cycle. I'd suggest three months? On the day triggered by the release cycle, have a group of people look at trunk and make a decision: Is there any new feature in there worth releasing?
If not, see you next time in the review cycle. This version is packaged as a Windows installer, so it pretty much just works. I've never had a problem with Hugin, from NT 4.
As for your original problem I did a search and didn't see your post on that one : There is a checkbox in the Stitcher tab of Hugin, "Panorama Outputs: Exposure corrected low dynamic range", make sure that one is checked. If you leave any of the "Remapped Images" boxes checked, it will keep the individual remapped images as well, instead of cleaning them up after blending.
Best of luck, sorry I can't be more helpful. Just tried again; I get the following error message when installing Hugin 64 bit read the last line : Extracting Hugin package Is the user account you're using an Administrator account? Posts: 8. Let the revolt begin. Adobe Acrobat X has just withing the last two weeks started crashing again and again. I tried the repair option and it did not appear to help the problem. Adobe seems to be working fine and then it just crashes. I cannot determine what is causing the problem.
I will be working and then all of a sudden it just report Adobe has stopped working. Checking for solution and this last time it was unable to find the recovery file and I just lost 2 hours of work. Any suggestion on how to try and find the recovery file? Thanks, Steve. One other odd behavior is that when I go to save a document and click on file save I get the already exists message and then I click on over write and it says that it is open somewhere else.
Sorry I lost track of this thread and I'm just picking it back up. One other issue may be corrupt or damaged fonts. Have you scanned your Font library recently? There are many products that offer this feature, one I've used personally is Extensis Suitcase. It has a program called Font Doctor that will identify and remove damaged fonts. Registered: Nov 10 Posts: 1. So has anyone had any luck with moving beyond the crashes experienced in this thread, I too am experiencing similar crashes. I have opened a case with Adobe to try and troubleshoot.
Anyone have any ideas to move forward with fixing the issue or ideas to remove the update adobe itself and go back to my previous version? By the way I did submit a bug report to Adobe earlier today I wonder if i will hear anything back! I have not found a fix for the crashes so I yanked Acrobat X of my laptop and am not doing any work with at all.
I haven't had time to do any more sleuthing. If I hadn't done the update maybe I would probably still be able to function. I'm sorry to hear you are still experiencing crashing, synwave7, were you able to scan your font library for damage? As a sandboxed application, it is prevented from communicating with the OS in any way that can be considered a security vulnerability, some applications and drivers have trouble with this and our recommendation in these cases is to turn it off until the drivers and applications get updated to handle the new security architecture.

Kelly, Have now tried a repair but this did not help. Also, the "enable protected mode at startup" is not an available option under general or anywhere else I can see.
