The purpose of this document is to review key elements of the Wraparound process practice model and potential modifications that may be necessary to effectively support young people and families participating in Wraparound during COVID, while also adhering to public health and safety standards. The ACF Youth Engagement team provided specific recommendations on how agencies and courts could improve permanency outcomes by supporting connections with kin, securing relational permanency for youth, and achieving successful adoptions for older youth.

NWIC supports states, communities, and organizations to implement Wraparound as part of broader health reform strategies. NWIC uses innovative approaches grounded in implementation science and spanning the policy, financing, evaluation, and workforce development areas to comprehensively support implementation and build sustainable local capacity to provide high-quality Wraparound, thereby increasing positive outcomes for children, youth, and their families.
National Wraparound Initiative works to promote understanding about the components and benefits of care coordination using the Wraparound practice model, and to provide the field with resources and guidance that facilitate high quality and consistent Wraparound implementation.
The National Center for Innovation and Excellence. We attempt to match each phase of the FFP intervention to the unique cultural and social differences of the family or individual participant. Strength-Based : FFP asks that we learn to recognize strength in all forms.
We acknowledge the inherent dangers of harmful behaviors and offer a positive outlook for their purpose. We work hard to point out the assets of behaviors event when they appear detrimental to the families we serve. FFP trains us to look at the individual as a whole. Is at imminent risk of placement within the next thirty 30 days in a group home at a Rate Classification Level RCL 10 or above.
The California Wraparound Advisory Committee CWAC is a group whose members collectively makes recommendations, identifies and shares solutions, and promotes best practices related to Wraparound policies and programs. The CWAC convenes on a quarterly basis, twice a year in-person meetings, and twice a year via virtual platform. Email: CalWrapCommittee dss. The California Wraparound Hubs are regional groups who share information, collaborative practices, and discuss topics relevant to Wraparound.
There are currently 3 hubs: Northern, Southern, and Central. The hubs meet quarterly, in-person and via-virtual platform.

The purpose of the Steering Committee is to develop a collaborative California Wraparound community that seeks to build continuity in practice and improve equitable safety, well-being, and permanency outcomes for children and families through the provision of high-fidelity Wraparound programs.
